Diversity & Inclusion

Art is a reflection of culture. With cultural diversity comes a new array of

art and expressions. They produce together a lot of beautiful stories.

As a creative, the artist believes art is the global language to tell them

all. It’s all about the diverse expertise, experiences, and perspectives of

all contributors that make us stronger and unique. Although with a difference

in perspective, this diversity also leads us to discrimination, racism, and

intolerance. Surrounding ourselves with voices that say the same is the

very antithesis of diversity. Assuming everyone thinks the same as you is not inclusion.

When it comes to inclusion, it is like every stitch crocheted in a scarf.

To strive and create an environment where each one of us has warmth,

strength, and a better future to look forward to, together!

Through this artwork, I have tried to portray a stance against

discrimination, violence, emphasizing more on self-affirmation,

equality of rights, sexual diversity, and gender variance.

To create a sustainable change, diversity and inclusion must be integrated.
